Jazz
first emerged in the 1930s, as a fusion of various musical, cultural
and social styles. Notwithstanding its specificity, it soon leapt
boundaries to become a universal and powerfully creative style.
It
is from this conceptual basis that the Jazz Collection springs.
Associated with the specificity of the craft of traditional
Portuguese tiles, it aims to break down the barriers of a local
perspective to achieve a universal appeal.
We
combine the square tile format with the creative storm of JAZZ to
achieve a flowing interpretation that breaks up the underlying
geometry, with the musical stave as connecting element between each
instrument.
